Nikki Nilwik is Academic Contributor at Rubicon Impact & Litigation, specialized in international law with a focus on climate and human rights. She has a master’s degree in international climate law from Edinburgh University and one in public law from the University of Utrecht. She is currently researching a PhD at the University of Leiden, focusing on public interest issues.

Nikki is involved in a case against Dutch shipping companies calling for equal pay for Filipino and Indonesia seafarers and was part of the team representing Fossielvrij in its successful case against KLM greenwashing. 

In addition to social affairs and research, Nikki also participates in corporate and/or commercial cases, such as shareholder disputes.
