Privacy & Data Protection

Rubicon Impact & Litigation lawyers specialise in privacy and data protection law. We assist our national and international clients across various sectors in navigating the different laws and regulations that govern how we handle data and personal information, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We offer our clients a range of solutions, from compliance and enforcement procedures to litigation. Whether drafting privacy policies or leading collective compensation actions such as those against Google (Weer Nederlandse massaclaim tegen Google | Netkwesties), Rubicon Impact & Litigation is an expert in both the procedural and substantive aspects of the comprehensive privacy and data rights landscape.

We also engage in mass damage cases relating to privacy. For example, we represent the Stichting Massaschade & Consument in the collective action against Google over the unauthorised collection of large amounts of smartphone user data.

Privacy and data protection law require vigilance and adaptation to the rapid developments in technology and regulation. Several of our lawyers are involved the Young Privacy Lawyers Association (JPAN), an association for lawyers with up to seven years of experience in privacy law, offering them opportunities to expand their network and share knowledge and experiences.
