Sarah Stapel

Sarah Stapel specialises in data protection and privacy law, platform regulation, and fundamental rights, from (class action) litigation to compliance. In particular, she represents consumers against big tech, such as in the class action case against Google.
She advises companies on compliance with various tech laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Digital Services Act (DSA), from drafting and implementing policies, as well as guidance on specific issues. She also assists individuals with enforcing their rights, by helping with access requests and offering procedural support.
Sarah is currently on the board at Jonge Privacy Advocaten Nederland and organises readings and lectures on various aspects of privacy legislation.
