Nathan is Head of Consumer Protection. As a class-action plaintiffs’ lawyer, he represents large groups of consumers and SMEs in challenging unlawful practices that they cannot effectively address on their own. With a background in European and antitrust law, Nathan litigates cases at the intersection of key areas of EU law, including consumer protection, privacy and competition.

He has been involved in numerous leading class-action lawsuits under the Resolution of Mass Damage in Collective Actions Act (WAMCA), including five diesel emissions scandal cases against Volkswagen, Stellantis, Mercedes, and Renault, as well as the TikTok and Google Android privacy class-actions.

Nathan has worked on several antitrust damages cases, including the Truck and Forex Cartels, as well as a follow-on case against Google for abusing its dominance in general internet search by favoring its own comparison shopping service. He was also a regular contributor to Cartel Damages Quarterly, a journal on cartel damages and competition case law.

Before joining Rubicon Impact & Litigation, Nathan worked at a litigation boutique firm in Amsterdam, where he also gained extensive experience in corporate and commercial litigation, particularly in complex multi-jurisdictional cases.
