Stefan Vissink
Stefan is an attorney-at-law specialising in corporate litigation and commercial dispute resolution. He advises and litigates on behalf of shareholders, directors, and supervisory board members in complex corporate and commercial proceedings.
He has extensive experience with board and shareholder disputes, directors’ liability, and other corporate conflicts, including proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber (OK) and the Netherlands Commercial Court (NCC). In addition, he assists clients in post-closing M&A disputes and civil proceedings concerning the interpretation and performance of contracts. Stefan represents clients in both interim relief proceedings and proceedings on the merits before the civil courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation, effectively combining litigation with strategic negotiation. He works closely with his clients and ensures clear coordination and transparency throughout the entire process.
He started his career in 2016 at a law firm in Utrecht and subsequently worked at bureau Brandeis in Amsterdam. Since the founding of Rubicon Impact & Litigation in 2024, he has been affiliated with the firm as part of the corporate litigation team.
Stefan studied Law at Utrecht University and successfully completed the Grotius specialist programme in Corporate Litigation. He is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and teaches for the SRA (Samenwerkende Registeraccountants en Accountants-Administratieconsulenten).

Experience
Stefan’s recent experience includes advising and representing:
- a non-profit organisation in a dispute with its financier regarding the termination and conditions of funding arrangements with significant societal impact;
an investment fund in a conflict with one of its participants following a fraud incident; - a shareholder of a Ukrainian company in an international jurisdiction and competence dispute in complex litigation involving USD 500 million;
the founders of a leading organisation in multiple governance and shareholder disputes; - a private equity party in an inquiry proceeding before the Enterprise Chamber in a conflict with the board; and
- various parties in complex post-closing M&A disputes, including discussions regarding warranties, indemnities, and purchase price adjustments.
